Privacy for Ludo

There is no Ludo account to open. The sections below list what this browser game stores.

On this device

Ludo's browser storage holds the local scoreboard and each token's spot on the track in an unfinished local game, and it can also hold the difficulty chosen against the computer. Online matches are kept out of that scoreboard. Undo after a finished computer game can strike that one result from the list. If you clear this site's stored data, those records leave the browser.

An anonymous token stays in the browser during an online session so that a reload can fetch the same match. Remove site data and the token goes with it. That does not delete the matching row on the server. Keep the token to yourself.

On the game server

The queue and the live match are stored through Supabase. What the server holds is a nameless player record, who is waiting, which seats are filled, where the tokens are, and the moves both browsers need to follow one match. Player records expire after thirty days. If ten minutes pass without a move, the active game ends. Polling does not reset or extend those ten minutes. When a match finishes, its row is not deleted on its own.

A Ludo invitation does not reserve a private table and does not seat you opposite the person who shared the link, because waiting players share one public queue. About ten seconds with an empty queue is enough for this page to quit waiting and play the computer on this device.

Hosting and fonts

Page files are static and hosted on Vercel. The game server is Supabase. Fonts come from Adobe Fonts. Sending the page, a live match, or a font can expose ordinary connection details, including an IP address, to those services.

Advertising

Google's ad script is not present on these Ludo pages, and this change adds no ad unit. An ads.txt file, a publisher verification tag, or a blank box labeled as an advertisement does not request an ad merely by being there. Later, if Google advertising is turned on, Google and its partners may rely on cookies and similar identifiers for third-party advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. The same point is set out in how Google uses advertising cookies and how Google uses information from partner sites.

Questions

Mail warmeve.label@gmail.com. Tell them this is Ludo and which site, without the online token or any password. A phone number is not published, and neither is a street address. The contact page will not upload what you type.
